1. Laboratory & Home Sample Collection

We are having inbuilt collection centre of Sanjeevani pathology laboratory (ISO 9001-2008 Certified). Sanjeevani Pathology laboratory (SPL) is an independent, private, stand alone, medium volume testing medical laboratory located in Rajkot city of Gujarat state. SPL is committed to give quality results to its customers like patients and referring clinicians. Established in 1993, the laboratory has proved its quality of services in the field of Laboratory medicine. 2. Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy plays a crucial role after Total Knee Replacement surgery. After surgery, practice of a correct version of the appropriate exercises can begin recovery very rapidly. One study compared a group of patients who didn't receive physiotherapy and a group who did. In this study it was clear that physiotherapy actually has its benefits. (Evidence level: 1a).We are having in-house physiotherapy facility and full time physiotherapists’ team to provide complete recovery to post operative patients. There are four steps in the revalidation process. The first step is mobilizations, then static strength, followed by dynamic strength, and ending with stabilization. The mobilizations and static strength training can be started at almost the same time. The first day after surgery it is important to stimulate blood circulation. Therefore the patient can be asked to perform a flexion and extension with the feed.

Already from day 2, one can start to walk with the patient with an ambulator or walker. The therapist also starts mobilization exercises regarding flexion and extension; usually these exercises are performed on a shuttle bench. The flexion and extension of the knee can also be immediately practiced actively. Highly qualified physiotherapists following international standard protocol are looking after all the post operative patients in our hospital.

3. Patient counselling

Patient counselling is a key competency element of the surgical process. Prabhukrupa hospital is the only hospital where patients get one to one counselling sessions. Counsellor explain them every minute details of surgery, pre operative procedures, addresses their fears, help them throughout the process. Also counsellor takes responsibility for all post operative concerns and communication and makes the entire process smooth.

4. Cashless Hospitalisation

Health Insurance earlier entailed the complete settlement of the health care services bill by the individual to the hospital, followed by a reimbursement claim filed with the Insurance Company. The Insurance Regulatory Development Authority in India initiated the Cashless Hospitalization Process through Third Party Administration services for Health Insurance claims from 2002.

5. X-Ray & Pharmacy

A separate X-ray room with high quality digital x-ray is available in the hospital itself. Also, indoor pharmacy is available. All the pre operative, post operative and routinely prescribed medicines are available just a step away.
